OPPI® is once again taking part in the Lépine Contest! It was this internationally renowned fair that highlighted our first construction game Piks, winning 3 Gold Medals in 2018 and 2019. We can't wait to meet you to make you (re)discover Piks and introduce you our new Flot! We invite you to the International Fair of Paris, at the Parc des Expositions (Porte de Versailles) from April 28 to May 9, 2022.
The Lépine Competition, French innovation in the spotlight
The Lépine Competition has existed since 1901 with one objective: to promote inventions! It was Louis Lépine, prefect of police for the former department of the Seine, who created it with the first name “exhibition of toys and articles from Paris”.
Today, the Lépine Competition which takes place during the Foire Internationale de Paris is the French event of reference for all inventors and creators. The Foire de Paris is 1,250 exhibitors in a wide variety of fields and nearly half a million visitors! The 2022 edition is placed under the sign of renewal: local and sustainable consumption.
The Competition revealed innovations that are now part of our daily lives: the electric vacuum cleaner, the washing machine, the ballpoint pen... Among these inventions, we also find iconic games who accompanied the children of yesterday and accompany those of today like the “Mecano”, the game of 1000 terminals or the “Laughing Pig”.
Our construction game Piks is also one of the (triple) award-winning games recognized by the jury of experts.

It was our very first game, created in 2018, which officially launched the history of OPPI®! The brothers Hansel & Bastien Schloupt imagined this construction game different from the others to meet the specific needs of children such as attention and concentration disorders (ADHD).
A lot of research, working closely with child specialists and testing with children themselves went into bringing Piks to life: a game made up of wooden planks of various shapes and silicone cones of different sizes and colors. It is the combination of wood and silicone that offers foolproof adhesion (or almost) and allows you to create dangerous constructions! Children can imagine everything, play alone or with others, challenge themselves... They will have fun and laugh while developing their creativity, using logic and reflection and taking risks !

Flot, innovative bath toys
This year is our new Flot Bath Toy Collection who will be in the spotlight and who will have to convince the expert jury of the Concours Lépine!
Been to Flot? This is our second Collection dedicated to learning about hygiene and autonomy. In the Flot family, you will find Kuji the Whale, Tako the Octopus and Kaba the Hippopotamus. This innovative Collection meets the needs of parents and children:
• We have found a solution for the major mold problem: our toys are designed in two separable parts, so they are easy to wash and dry!
• These are educational games: Anaïs Rognard, occupational therapist and Sonia Krief, childcare assistant contributed to the creative process.
• They are eco-responsible, designed from recyclable materials, to give them a second life! ♻️

Successfully launched on Ulule with more than 4,500 pre-sales in 40 days, the Flot Collection has already won over many families and we can't wait to hear the point of view of the Concours Lépine Jury and the Parisian public!
